Leedale Pharmacy is looking for a forward-thinking, motivated Pharmacist to join our team of Pharmacists at our Distance Selling Pharmacy in Doncaster. Working with our Senior Pharmacist and alongside other Pharmacists, you will be supported by the Hub Manager, four Team Leaders, nine Accuracy Checking colleagues and over forty qualified dispensing colleagues.
As an integral part of our DSP Pharmacist team, you will be central to the delivery of over 70,000 items a month, including over 2000 MDS patients and 6,000 vet prescription items, all through robotic dispensing technology. Your time will be focused on delivering NHS and private services to patients (including DMS, NMS, Pharmacy First, Contraceptive service and weight loss), clinically validating prescriptions (NHS, private and veterinarian) and supporting the admin team to answer patient and professional queries.
The right candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, with a range of new technology and be flexible to cover pharmacist annual leave.
Qualifications / Experience- Forward thinking, motivated Pharmacist to join the Distance Selling Pharmacy.
- Experience delivering NHS and private services, including DMS, NMS, Pharmacy First, Contraceptive service and weight loss.
- Ability to clinically validate prescriptions (NHS, private and veterinarian).
- Willingness to support the admin team in answering patient and professional queries.
- Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment and with new technology.
- Flexibility to cover pharmacist annual leave.
Initially average 38.5 to 44 hours/week – five days Monday to Friday and 1 in 4 Saturdays (to cover maternity leave until August). The permanent contract will be an average of 25 hours per week, 24 hours over three days and 1 in 4 Saturdays (4 hrs). Option to work up to full time permanently, with additional days on Relief as Pharmacist cover in our branch network.
