DRIVERS REQUIRED: HGV Drivers – Class 2

RATE OF PAY: £18.30 - £26.82 per hour based on shift times

We are recruiting for HGV Class 2 Driver for our client, WINCANTON SAINSBURYS; the role involves Convenience store delivery work. Enjoy competitive pay rates and plenty of overtime
Shift Start Times Available:
- 18:00 – 00:00 - Nights
- 04:00 – 11:00 - Days
****Estimated minimum weekly pay based on 55 hours £1,006****
****Expected minimum annual earnings £52,338****
DUTIES:
- Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
- Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
- HGV Class 2 drivers must Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
- Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary
- Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
- Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised
- Possess an Enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service
- Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work

Requirements:
- HGV CLASS 2 license
- Full HGV CLASS 2 licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
- Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
- Strong understanding of Driver’s Hours, regulations, and Working Time Directive
- Excellent geographical knowledge
- Customer-focused attitude
