Job Title: Sales & Customer Service Assistant
Reporting to: Sales Supervisor
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.00pm (working hours are negotiable), Lunchbreak TBA dependent on working hours
Salary: Up to £13 per hour + Bonus Scheme
Location: Strood, Kent.
Purpose:
To make contact with new & existing customers who have previously dealt with us to gain further business from them, and to assist where needed to ensure the smoothing running of the national hire centre office.
Primary Responsibilities:
We have an opening within our busy hire centre, as a member of our sales team. Office duties will mainly be telephone contact to re-establish client contact with existing customers within our database, you will also be required to generate new hires and process ongoing hires, customer requests and queries to assist our hire team as and when required.
You will be required to record your work on our database and follow the processes to ensure compliance & display a methodical approach to work, resulting in timely completion of tasks.
Office experience would be preferable but not essential as full training will be given. Computer experience is necessary. We welcome applications with a variety of previous experience including applicants seeking their first job. Full training will be provided but we ask that you are naturally customer focused, outgoing with a confident disposition including a friendly, professional telephone manner.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Administrative background (preferable)

- Maths/English to GCSE standard (or equivalent)
