About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Demolition Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating demolition projects to ensure they are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, knowledge of demolition best practices, and compliance with current UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise site activities, ensuring compliance with RAMS, method statements, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and manage demolition operatives, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain site safety standards in line with HSE guidance and company procedures.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure proper use of PPE, plant, and equipment, and oversee inspections and maintenance.
- Keep accurate site records, including daily logs, toolbox talks, and health & safety checks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid CCDO Demolition Supervisor Card.
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- Demonstrable experience supervising demolition projects.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations (including CDM 2015 and CAR 2012).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Asbestos awareness training.
