We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on Account Executive to join our H Dawson team – a progressive, eco-active business based in the iconic Salts Mill. As we continue to champion wool as a regenerative, ethical, and high-performance fibre, we are calling for a motivated and proactive colleague who shares our deep commitment to sustainability and is ready to work closely with our customers and supply chain to deliver the best customer experience.
ROLE PURPOSE
This role has a dual focus: managing the complex order fulfilment process behind the sales team, while collaborating with the production team to ensure timely customer deliveries. As a proactive and critical thinker, you will play a vital role in exceeding customer expectations through direct verbal communication, relationship building, and supply chain coordination. Your ability to influence stakeholders and support the integrity of our specialist certified networks is crucial. This hands-on role requires a highly organised individual with strong IT skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Responsibilities range from basic account servicing, such as sample preparation, to managing complex critical paths, supplier liaison and logistics. You will master internal IT systems, understand customer workflows, specify packaging, and ensure the supply chain delivers on our customer commitments.
You will work closely with colleagues to uphold our company’s mission: producing wool that restores biodiversity, water quality, and soil health, while supporting our Woolkeepers farming community. Your growing understanding of our wool supply chain will allow you to engage proactively in product enhancements that will benefit our customer. This is a career opportunity to develop expertise in natural fibre production within a forward-thinking, specialist business that combines heritage, innovation, and environmental responsibility – whilst shaping how wool is perceived in the modern world.
