Powder Coater Hours:40 hours per week

We are one of the UKs leading designers and manufacturers of retail display solutions. All produced inhouse over our extensive manufacturing facilities within the UK at Stockport & Halifax . Our Stockport division is looking to recruit a reliable and motivated Paint Line Operative to join our team and work on our automated powder coating plant for bulk production and one off prototypes with our multi spray / auto technology. The role is ideal for someone with previous experience in a fabrication or production environment, who has a strong work ethic and takes pride delivering high quality results This is a hands on role working to high standards of quality, safety and efficiency Key Responsibilities: As a Paint Line Operative you would need to prepare parts for powder coating, including cleaning, masking, and hanging parts on racks. Assist in loading and unloading parts from the coating booths or oven. Maintain a clean and organised work area, including cleaning tools and equipment. Monitor and maintain supplies such as masking materials, cleaning agents, and other necessary items. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Help in inspecting coated parts for quality and assist in reworking any defective items. Perform general labouring tasks as needed to support production operations. Qualifications: Previous experience in powder coating or metal Pre-Treatment would be beneficial Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. As a Paint Line Operator a good physical stamina, as the role involves standing, lifting, and moving parts throughout the day. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Team player with strong communication skills. Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities. A Driving licence would be preferable
