We are one of the UK’s leading designers and manufacturers of retail display solutions, all produced in-house over our extensive manufacturing facilities within the UK at Stockport & Halifax.
Our Stockport division is looking to recruit a reliable and motivated Spot Welder to join our team and work in our Fabrication Department. The role is ideal for someone with previous experience in a fabrication or production environment, who has a strong work ethic and takes pride in delivering high-quality results.
This is a hands-on role working to high standards of quality, safety and efficiency. As a Spot Welder, you would be using power and hand tools for grinding, cutting, and shaping materials daily. Engage in Floor Drilling, Pillow Drilling, Cutting and Saw duties. Perform quality control to all tasks. Maintain a clean and organised work area, including cleaning tools and equipment. Be willing to progress to other fabrication duties. Perform general labouring tasks as needed to support production operations.
Previous experience with general fabrication would be beneficial. Strong attention to detail, including quality. As a Spot Welder, good physical stamina is an advantage, as the role involves standing, lifting, and moving parts throughout the day. A driving licence would be preferable.
