Responsibilities

  • Preparation of raw materials and packaging: identifying and preparing the right quantities, transporting them to the appropriate production area, reporting any deviation from normal, and noting start and finish of the process.
  • Operating processing equipment in line with process instructions and procedures.
  • Monitoring equipment to keep processes running at desired run rates.
  • Completing the initial testing and releasing products to ensure no deviations to specifications.
  • Checking labels and packaging material to ensure correct labeling following existing rules and instructions.
  • Packaging the final products in accordance with instructions and H.B. Fuller quality standards.
  • Carrying out all operations in compliance with the expected quality standards, operating procedures, and all legal and company EHS rules.
  • Being responsible for housekeeping in the area of responsibility.
  • Carrying out any other duties requested by the Production Manager or Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

  • Basic educational degree, high school diploma, or general education diploma.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Knowledge of common software programs (MS Office).
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, production processes, safety regulations, and quality procedures and instructions.
  • Availability to work in shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of experience in an industrial environment.
  • Understanding of basic English.

Physical Environment

  • Required to stand for long periods of time.
  • Walk and climb stairs.
  • Use hands to remove or lift boxes.
  • Stretch and reach with arms extended.
  • Stoop and bend.
  • Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Temperature, dust, smell, and noise are within normal chemical environment conditions.
