Position Overview
The Business Development Manager will drive growth of H.B. Fuller’s commercial roofing portfolio across the EIMEA region by identifying new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with key customers. The role collaborates with commercial, technical, and marketing teams to deliver innovative adhesive solutions and expand market presence. It requires a proactive, strategic approach to developing markets, managing complex accounts, and representing H.B. Fuller as a trusted partner.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and build pipeline
- Grow OEM and distributor accounts
- Execute blue‐chip projects and new launches
- Lead proposals, pricing, and negotiations
- Meet sales targets; forecast accurately
- Research market, leads, and competitors
- Partner with regional sales and technical teams
- Travel 30–50% across EIMEA; US as needed
Minimum Requirements
- 3–5 years in sales/BD/account management
- Roofing market experience
- Complex, multi‐site account management
- Fluent English; work authorization in hiring country
- Willing to travel 30–50%
Preferred Requirements
- Adhesives or construction materials background
- OEM/distribution experience in building products
- Additional European language(s)
- Proven revenue growth in matrixed environments
