H.A. McEwen (Boiler Repairs) Ltd is a family-run specialist engineering company based near Keighley in West Yorkshire. We are seeking a highly proficient Accounts Administrator to join our fast-paced head office in Cowling on a part-time, permanent basis.
This role is well-suited to an individual who enjoys a varied workload, demonstrates excellent attention to detail, works efficiently, and is capable of operating independently within a busy yet supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Raise customer invoices and proactively follow up on overdue payments
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure smooth administrative workflows
- Provide support with quarterly VAT returns
- Deliver general finance and administrative support to the wider team as required
- Use Sage accounting software to upload and manage financial information
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an accounts or finance role
- Proficient in all aspects of Sage
- Strong ability to multitask and effectively prioritise workload
- A collaborative team player with a flexible approach and high adaptability to change
- Excellent data entry skills with a consistently high level of attention to detail
- Competitive salary, dependent on experience
- Working hours: Wednesday and Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (with 1 hour for lunch)
