Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for project teams executing projects on time, on scope, and on budget while maintaining ATL values with the customer and throughout the ATL organization.
  • Leverage engineers to lead delivery of technical solutions for projects.
  • Leverage project managers for activities such as planning, monitoring and control, execution, closure, and risk management.
  • Plan and allocate resources to projects, identifying when new resources are needed and hiring appropriately.
  • Work interdepartmentally to remove roadblocks for project teams.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of projects and employees to management.
  • Support internal company initiatives such as continuous improvement projects and business process development.
  • Compile, report, and present project execution performance and status to varying levels of leadership, both internally and externally.
  • Coordinate with other managers and functional teams to ensure consistency in role expectations of direct reports.
  • Promote learning by ensuring regular training for the team in new and developing technologies relevant to the customer base and target market segments.
  • Monitor and report the performance of KPIs to identify deviations early and address them, celebrating successes.
  • Understand the tools and processes used by subordinates to clarify day-to-day expectations and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Communicate with global resources, accommodating flexible work schedules for early morning or evening meetings.
