Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accountable for project teams executing projects on time, on scope, and on budget while maintaining ATL values with the customer and throughout the ATL organization.
- Leverage engineers to lead delivery of technical solutions for projects.
- Leverage project managers for activities such as planning, monitoring and control, execution, closure, and risk management.
- Plan and allocate resources to projects, identifying when new resources are needed and hiring appropriately.
- Work interdepartmentally to remove roadblocks for project teams.
- Monitor and report on the performance of projects and employees to management.
- Support internal company initiatives such as continuous improvement projects and business process development.
- Compile, report, and present project execution performance and status to varying levels of leadership, both internally and externally.
- Coordinate with other managers and functional teams to ensure consistency in role expectations of direct reports.
- Promote learning by ensuring regular training for the team in new and developing technologies relevant to the customer base and target market segments.
- Monitor and report the performance of KPIs to identify deviations early and address them, celebrating successes.
- Understand the tools and processes used by subordinates to clarify day-to-day expectations and identify improvement opportunities.
- Communicate with global resources, accommodating flexible work schedules for early morning or evening meetings.
