Senior Store Designer for the Global Real Estate team
To ensure management of new and existing store projects. Managing clientโs expectations through implementation of a project plan and providing leadership to contractors and architects, driving store projects to completion with the support of the Senior Development Project Manager.
RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Overseeing the execution of new and existing store development projects, ensuring they are completed within the scheduled timelines, budget constraints, and meeting the highest quality standards.
- Collaborating effectively with a team of project managers, fostering an environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and high performance.
- Liaising seamlessly with architects, contractors, and diverse stakeholders to ensure the alignment of goals and smooth project execution.
- Creating and implementing comprehensive project plans that detail project scope, objectives, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timelines.
- Proactively identifying potential project risks and issues, developing strategic contingency plans and implementing solutions to mitigate them.
- Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations across all construction projects to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
- Regularly reviewing project statuses, including budget, timelines, and progress, and reporting to senior management, ensuring transparency and timely decision-making.
- Building and maintaining robust relationships with clients, understanding their requirements, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes, optimize resources, and streamline processes, thereby boosting efficiency and profitability.
WHAT YOU\โLL NEED
- Exceptional team collaboration skills, with experience working in high-performing teams.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to understand and manage budgets and the financial implications of project decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising effectively with diverse stakeholders and clients.
- Proficiency in using project management software tools.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and quality standards in the construction industry.
- Bachelors degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required. A masters degree or relevant certifications will be considered as an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a demonstrable track record of managing large-scale projects.
- Prior experience in retail construction and store development is highly desirable.
