THE ROLE.

This is an opportunity to lead the creative vision behind all Gymshark graphics and prints, shaping how our brand comes to life across product.

Concept, Graphic & Print Design , you'll lead a talented team of Graphic and Print Designers, driving creative excellence from initial concept through to final product execution.

Working closely with the Design Director and wider Design leadership team, you'll help define seasonal creative direction, inspire innovation, and ensure every graphic and print solution delivers against both customer and commercial needs.

This role combines creative leadership, people management, strategic thinking, and hands-on design expertise to create compelling product that resonates with our global community.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING.

  • Lead Creative Direction
  • Partner with the Design Director and Heads of Design to shape seasonal concepts, trends, and creative direction
  • Create and oversee graphics and prints that align with brand vision, product strategy, and customer needs
  • Drive innovation across graphic and print execution, continuously evolving the Gymshark aesthetic
  • Lead trend, market, and competitor research to identify opportunities and emerging design directions
  • Lead & Develop the Team
  • Manage and develop a team of Graphic and Print Designers
  • Allocate workload effectively across the team to ensure priorities and deadlines are met
  • Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports through regular feedback, development planning, and goal setting
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of new design talent
  • Build a high-performing team culture focused on creativity, accountability, and growth
  • Drive Product Excellence
  • Oversee the end-to-end graphic and print design process from concept to final execution
  • Present concepts, graphics, and print direction at key sign-off meetings
  • Ensure all designs are delivered with clear specifications and accurate handovers to Development teams
  • Partner with Product Development to achieve exceptional product execution and quality
  • Champion a customer-first approach across all creative output
  • Deliver Commercial Impact
  • Partner with Buying and Merchandising teams to create graphics and prints that maximise commercial opportunities
  • Use consumer insights, market intelligence, and product performance data to influence creative decisions
  • Understand the commercial impact of previous and current Gymshark products, applying learnings to future ranges
  • Ensure graphic and print creation remains on critical path and delivers against business milestones
  • Collaborate Across the Business
  • Work closely with Men's and Women's Design teams to maintain consistency and brand synergy
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships across Product Creation
  • Participate in supplier visits to support innovation, speed, and stronger partnerships
  • Support market trips, benchmarking activities, and customer research initiatives

WHAT YOU'LL NEED.

  • Proven experience leading Graphic, Print, or Creative Design teams within apparel, sportswear, or lifestyle brands
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Exceptional graphic design, illustration, and print design capabilities
  • Experience designing both placement graphics and all-over prints
  • Strong understanding of print techniques and product application methods
  • Ability to balance creative vision with commercial objectives
  • A strong awareness of sportswear, fashion, and consumer trends
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong organisational capability with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • A solution-focused approach with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience coaching, developing, and inspiring creative talent

This is a hybrid role and requires the successful candidate to attend at least THREE days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK .
