We’re looking for a Social Content Executive to take ownership of one of our most culturally relevant spaces – Gymshark Lifting. This isn’t just a content role. This is about owning and growing a page that sits at the heart of lifting culture. You’ll be responsible for shaping what Gymshark Lifting looks and feels like on Instagram, while identifying opportunities to expand into new and emerging platforms like TikTok. You’ll live and breathe the world our audience lives in – from understanding the biggest names in lifting (think CBum and beyond) to knowing exactly what content resonates, performs, and goes viral. We’re not just looking for experience – we’re looking for obsession. Someone who is already deep in this space, already creating or consuming the content, and instinctively knows what hits. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Own and manage the Gymshark Lifting Instagram channel, driving its content, tone, and performance.
- Create high-impact, platform-native content that connects with the lifting community.
- Identify opportunities to expand Gymshark Lifting into new platforms (e.g. TikTok).
- Stay fully immersed in lifting culture, trends, and key influencers.
- Develop, shoot, and publish content – reacting quickly to real-time moments.
- Collaborate with creative teams to deliver campaign and always-on content.
- Capture content at events, shoots, and community moments.
- Track performance and optimise content against engagement and growth KPIs.
- Build connections with creators and influencers to elevate content output.
- Act as the go-to expert for your channel – constantly evolving what “great” looks like.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 1–2 years’ experience in a social media or content role (or strong personal content background).
- Proven ability to create engaging content for Instagram.
- Strong understanding of lifting/fitness culture and its key voices.
- Awareness of how content translates across Instagram and TikTok.
- Experience using editing tools (e.g. Premiere Pro, Photoshop or similar).
- Strong commercial awareness – you understand what content drives engagement.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, reactive environment.
- Confident communicator and collaborative team player.
- Self-starter with a genuine passion for content and culture.
