As a Floor Lead, you support the daily running of the store by leading from the shop floor, driving service standards and creating a positive, energetic environment for both customers and your team. You play a key part in operations—from morning huddles to daily setup, stock flow and standards, and confidently act as keyholder, sometimes as the sole manager on duty. You lead through example, bringing our values to life with every interaction.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading from the shop floor to deliver warm, human, best‑in‑class service, supporting fittings, product advice and full outfit builds.
- Protecting the customer journey by resolving issues quickly, professionally and with care.
- Running daily huddles and keeping communication clear across the sales floor and operations team, ensuring everyone understands targets and priorities.
- Providing on‑the‑job coaching, modelling great service and standards, and stepping up as the on‑duty leader when required.
- Driving confident, thoughtful selling—supporting upsell/cross‑sell, championing membership sign‑ups and helping the team spot genuine value‑adding opportunities.
- Maintaining high shopfloor standards, ensuring VM, cleanliness, fitting room flow and operational checks (including cash and H&S) are completed accurately.
- Acting as a calm problem‑solver, confidently handling escalations, key‑holder duties and sole‑manager‑on‑duty moments with good judgment.
- Staying adaptable by flexing between sales floor leadership and back‑of‑house tasks, prioritising effectively during peak trade, delivery flows and product movements.
What you'll need:
- Demonstrated customer‑service excellence, delivering warm, human and memorable experiences in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Confidence multitasking across stock management, visual presentation, BOH organisation and consistent shop‑floor execution.
- A strong sales mindset with the ability to identify customer needs, recommend products and provide genuine, value‑adding solutions.
- Positive, energetic and values‑driven, with a passion for community, wellness and fitness.
- Effective and clear communication skills, collaborating naturally with colleagues and supporting a positive team dynamic.
- Agility, openness to feedback and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Ability to approach every interaction with grounded confidence, honesty and a human‑first attitude.
- Experience in a retail leadership capacity (e.g., Floor Lead, Key Holder), with proven coaching ability, retail store experience (front or back of house), key‑holder capability.
- Valid Right to Work in the UK.
