We’re looking for an experienced, proactive Procurement Operations Manager to help shape and strengthen our indirect procurement capability. In this role, you’ll manage a new system roll‑out, process improvements, drive and communicate new policies, and manage internal and external communications for the team.
What you’ll bring (must‑haves)
- Thorough knowledge of Procure to Pay (P2P) and Source to Pay (S2P) processes.
- Previous experience implementing procurement policies — ideally with involvement in creating or updating them.
- Hands‑on experience implementing procurement systems or technologies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders while embedding and managing procurement processes and systems.

What you’ll be doing
- Owning and optimising end‑to‑end procurement processes, including workflows, approvals, risk mitigation and controls.
- Owning and managing procurement systems and tools and driving the adoption of procurement technologies.
- Owning and managing supplier due diligence and onboarding processes.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand how procurement activities can enable business goals; balancing best practice with flexibility.
- Owning and updating the Procurement Policy, working closely with Co‑Sec to ensure business‑wide communication and adoption.
- Managing the end‑to‑end sourcing for low‑value procurement activities where self‑serve is not possible.
- Being a central point of contact for the business travel solution, including day‑to‑day management of the supplier relationship.
- Collating and analysing data to produce reports such as spend analysis, benefits tracking, compliance metrics, and supplier performance.
- Supporting the Director of Procurement in preparing communications and reports.
- Monitoring and improving procurement KPIs, including cycle times, compliance rates, and supplier onboarding metrics.
What you’ll need
Essential criteria
- Solid knowledge of procurement best practices and sourcing strategies.
- Deep understanding of Source to Contract and Procure to Pay processes.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and suppliers with confidence and experience to work closely with Gymshark leaders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Experience implementing and managing procurement technology platforms e.g., SAP, e‑procurement (e.g., Omnea).
- Self‑starter, proactive, able to take ownership of procurement operations with minimal supervision.
- Experience working in fast‑paced, scaling organisations with greenfield or brownfield procurement functions.
- Ability to analyse complex data to inform sourcing decisions and develop ideas for ongoing improvements.
- Comfortable navigating between strict adherence to best practice and the flexibility needed to meet evolving business requirements.
- Proficient in procurement systems and tools such as SAP, e‑Procurement software, and skilled in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred criteria
- Expertise in identifying and mitigating procurement risks, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Experience working in a global organisation with complex supply chain and compliance requirements.
