We’re looking for an ambitious SEO & Content Manager to take the reins of our SEO & Content strategy and drive forward Gymshark’s visibility across traditional search, AI-powered discovery, and social search. This is more than just a management role, it’s a chance to shape how millions of people discover Gymshark.
WHAT YOU\’LL BE DOING:
In this role, you’ll lead a high-performing team spanning Technical SEO, SEO Content, and our owned editorial platform, Gymshark Central. You’ll work cross-functionally across the business, championing SEO and content innovation, aligning with wider marketing strategies, and ensuring we’re consistently ahead of the curve.
Develop and execute multi-channel SEO & Content strategies to grow visibility across traditional search (Google, Bing), AI-powered platforms (LLMs, AI Overviews), and social search (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest).
Own forecasting and performance reporting, providing clear KPIs, strategic direction, and actionable insights for senior leadership.
Champion innovation with a test-and-learn mindset, ensuring the SEO & Content strategy evolves with emerging trends and platforms.
Lead cross-functional collaboration, partnering with Social, Tech, Product, and Marketing teams to align on shared objectives and drive organic growth.
Oversee App Store Optimization (ASO) for both training and e-commerce apps, including research, content creation, and performance reporting.
Manage key external relationships with partners and tool providers, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and staying ahead of industry innovation.
Drive team performance and development, ensuring deadlines are met, strategic objectives are supported, and the team continues to grow both personally and professionally.
Stay ahead of SEO and content industry trends, championing the role of organic discovery across the business.
WHAT YOU\’LL NEED:
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in SEO or organic discovery, ideally within the ecommerce sector.
- Experience executing onsite and offsite SEO strategies.
- Informed and curious about AI (LLMs, AI Overviews, conversational AI) and social search.
- Confident using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Keyword Planner.
- Experience using key SEO performance tools, including but not limited to Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEOMonitor.
- Strong data analysis skills and a confident Excel user.
- Demonstrable ability to launch projects and work as a team.
- Confidence in presenting findings to the team.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a range of audiences.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders and drive SEO & Content performance forward for Gymshark.
WHAT YOU COULD ALSO HAVE:
- Experience planning ASO strategies.
- Experience working with freelance and outsourced content writers/contributors.
- An understanding and appreciation for the wider marketing funnel and how channels work together for success.
- Willing to challenge and be challenged.
- Willingness to give and receive effective feedback.
This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSHQ, Solihull, UK.
