Creative? Organised? Guilty of posting gym selfies on an almost daily basis? Sounds like you could be a great fit for Gymbox Farringdon's Studio Manager role. Whether you're a training nut, regular raver, lively Londoner, or just have a cheeky rebellious streak… you’ll already know all about Gymbox. And if you don’t? You’re in for one sweaty ride. Ten locations-strong and just warming up, we’re not your run-of-the-treadmill gym. We’re the ones who brought the craziest classes, best gear, sexiest clubs, and most challenging workouts to the capital. So, imagine what we could do for your work life…

Calling all instructors who want to run the show! Some people train because they have to. Others, because they love it. But this lot? Well, if they couldn’t get to a gym they would wither and die. If you’ve already taught studio classes, built a following, and know the difference between a class that buzzes and one that flops — this is your shot to run the whole show, not just one session at a time.

So, what will you be getting up to as Studio Manager? Well, you’ll:

  • Take ownership of our class programme – building the timetable, developing new formats, and keeping the sessions our members actually want to come back for
  • Lead and support our instructor team – keeping them happy, kitted out and, most importantly, paid
  • Handle the studio hire and budget-balancing that keeps the whole thing running without a hitch
  • Train everyone else around you to bang on about classes the best way we can
  • Be an all-star ambassador, living and breathing all things Gymbox.

What we’re after:

You already live in the studio world. You’ve taught classes, maybe run a rota, maybe managed instructors – either way, you know what makes a session sell out. That’s the bit we can’t teach.

Alongside that, we need:

  • A background in fitness or sport, ideally with a recognised instructing qualification (Level 2/3 gym or group exercise, or equivalent) – this is essential, not a nice-to-have
  • Great communication skills, a self-starting mindset and a positive attitude – absolute musts
  • Amazing organisational skills, because with this much going on across our timetables there’s a lot to keep track of
  • Experience in an administrative or management role – helpful for the timetable admin side, but we’ll teach you the Gymbox way if you haven’t done it before

What’s in it for you:

But enough about what we want, how about you? Well as well as giving you a sweaty, DJ-soundtracked haven a million miles from a crushing 9-5, you’ll enjoy:

  • Starting salary of £27,000.00 per year
  • Opportunity and encouragement to audition and teach 3 classes per week during working hours, taking the OTE of the role to approximately £31,000 per year – with your own studio class experience, you’ll be straight in front of a class from day one
  • Opportunity to teach further classes outside of working hours, if you want more mat time
  • Access to education, company-funded skills and in-house training
  • Discounts and perks, loyalty holiday scheme, party invitations, your birthday off!
  • Access to the Cycle to Work scheme after 6 months
  • Free linked membership for you and a +1 for a friend, family member or partner to the best Gyms in London!
