This is a great opportunity for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our team at Gymbox HQ. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment with experience of supporting and advising colleagues across the business. As HR Advisor, you will be a vital support in delivering across a broad range of HR activities and helping to drive positive outcomes for the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with the recruitment team to support managers in attracting top talent and improving hiring processes.
- Supporting the delivery of onboarding programmes and gathering feedback to enhance the experience.
- Facilitating management training and developing practical toolkits to support people leaders.
- Collaborating on HR projects and helping managers take ownership of people-related matters.
- Staying up to date with UK employment legislation and helping update internal policies and procedures.
- Managing employee relations cases and ensuring policies reflect both company culture and UK employment law.
What we’re looking for:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent HR experience.
- Demonstrable understanding of UK employment law and its practical application.
- Confidence in delivering training and coaching others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience in HR projects or project management is a plus, but not essential.
- Experience supporting managers with employee relations cases.
- Experience of working in a scale-up environment, in hospitality or retail is desirable.
