Merchandiser in Leeds

Location: Leeds (Colton). 2mins from Junction 46 – M1, 20mins from Leeds Station

We are looking for a merchandiser to work with our current team based at Gym Kings HeadOffice near Leeds to support the rapid growth of the business. This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic fashion brand working across a key business function to learn and progress in your role within the fashion industry.

You will be driven by a love for the brand, product, andanalysis. The successful candidate will have prior experience working in a similar role ideally in fashion. They will thrive working in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure, be keen to develop new skills and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with buying to plan the range based on trend and analysis
• Managing their own area including OTB, WSSIs and highlighting opportunities or risks to theMerchandisingManager
• Preparing reports and analysing performance and forecast demand to optimise stock levelsfor both web,wholesaleand marketplace
• Working closely with suppliers andlogisticsto track incoming stock and launches, communicating any updates to relevant teams
• Proposingsale and promotional lists based on the brand calendar in keeping with targets
• Present trade insights andproposingactionsinquarterly performance reviews
• Contribute to range reviews and sign-off meetingsto the management team
• Close working relationship with buying,logistics,salesand Ecom.

About you

• 3+ years of merchandising experience
• Strong analytical skills
• A quick learner who can process lots of information and prioritise actions
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Looking for an established junior merchandiserwho’sready for a step up or a merchandiser who is ready for a new challenge
• A UK driving licence would be advantageous.

Working hours: Due to the nature of this role, the hours will be full time (37.5 hours per week) Monday-Friday, although a flexible approach is required at times to meet the needs of the role.

Location: This role is based at Unit 6 Temple Point, Bullerthorpe Lane, Colton, Leeds LS15 9JL. 2 minutes off the M1 J46. 20 minutes from Leeds station.
