We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Instrumentation) for a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract (FTC). In this role, you will join our Systems Engineering team to drive projects focused on improving the reliability and robustness of our medical device instrumentation, as well as managing the transfer of technology into production.

  • Electromechanical Design & Testing: Project Ownership: Own and independently manage technical projects, covering system design, reviews, and subsystem/system-level verification.
  • Performance Optimization: Lead practical investigations, including Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), to incorporate modern analytics and enhance system performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering teams to integrate new electronics systems and refine manufacturing processes.
  • Regulated Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience in a regulated industry where Quality Systems are essential.
  • Problem-Solving & RCA: Advanced skill in root cause analysis, system troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Systems Engineering Core: Solid foundation in systems engineering principles, including requirements management, system integration, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage technical projects and multiple priorities with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
