Here at GXO, we’re proud to be recruiting for our fantastic Degree Apprenticeship programme – offered in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University. Over three and a half years, you’ll earn while you learn, gaining skills across our business.

At the end of the scheme, you’ll have a degree in Professional Supply Chain Leadership to your name, and a bright career ahead! To top it off, there’s no cost to you, with the degree fully funded by GXO.

We’re offering this programme at multiple UK locations, with a start date of September 2026. Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a starting salary from £21,200 per annum, increasing each year. In addition, we offer 25 days paid holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, a Cycle to Work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Work across a variety of our departments – including areas such as warehousing, health and safety, human resources and continuous improvement; supporting you to gain a well-rounded view of GXO, our customers, and the wider world of logistics.
  • Gain the confidence, experience and skills to lead and support your own team.
  • Follow your own bespoke training plan, with the support of an experienced mentor and regular progress reviews to develop your skills and experience.
  • Attend Sheffield Hallam University on a block release basis (once every six to seven weeks), working towards your fully funded degree in Professional Supply Chain Leadership.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Approximately 112 UCAS points (equivalent to BBC grades at A level).
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work on your own initiative to drive ongoing development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ambition and a genuine desire to learn and grow – this is a career and not just a job, with a variety of development opportunities on offer during the scheme and beyond.
  • Adaptable approach with the flexibility to work across multiple departments and shift patterns.
