Are you an experienced supervisor looking to step up and take ownership of a busy shift? Do you enjoy leading teams, driving performance and maintaining high standards in a fast‑paced operation? Are you comfortable working flexible hours and leading from the front to keep operations running smoothly?

Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for a Shift Supervisor to join our Mossend operation. This is a full‑time, permanent role, working an afternoon/evening shift pattern on any 5 days from 7, including weekends. You’ll be responsible for leading your shift, driving performance and creating an engaged, high‑performing team within a warehouse and transport environment.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Lead the day‑to‑day operation of your shift, ensuring productivity, quality and service targets are achieved
  • Coach, motivate and develop colleagues, supporting performance reviews and training needs
  • Deliver clear shift handovers and maintain effective communication across teams
  • Promote a strong health & safety culture, ensuring compliance with site procedures
  • Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement across the operation

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or transport supervisory role
  • Confidence leading teams in a fast‑paced, operational environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • A proactive, organised approach with strong problem‑solving skills
  • Flexibility to work a 5‑from‑7 shift pattern including weekends
