Here at GXO, we’re seeking a QHSE Assistant. You’ll provide vital administrative and operational support to the QHSE function at our Primark Lutterworth site. Working closely with the QHSE Manager, you’ll help maintain accurate records, coordinate documentation, track actions and support audits – ensuring QHSE standards are consistently embedded across the site.

This is a full-time, 12-month Secondment position. You will work Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Provide administrative support to the QHSE Manager, maintaining accurate and well-organised records
  • Support accident, near-miss and safety observation reporting, ensuring correct logging and follow-up
  • Maintain training matrices, compliance trackers and QHSE documentation for employees, agency workers and contractors
  • Assist with site inductions, toolbox talks and basic QHSE training administration
  • Help prepare QHSE reports, KPI data and action logs from audits, inspections and meetings

  • Experience supporting QHSE, compliance or administration in an operational environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong planning and organisation skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities and remain flexible
