Here at GXO Runcorn, Preston Brook we are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team, supporting our customer, B&Q. From receiving and storing products to picking, packing, and dispatching orders you will be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on a Tuesday to Saturday pattern, covering the hours of 09:00 to 19:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Perform a range of warehouse tasks including picking, loading/unloading vehicles, and operating FLT and pallet trucks using RF systems, while adhering to safe manual handling practices
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time, such as returns manifests and daily driver records
- Ensure operational standards and customer service requirements are met by achieving site KPIs and maintaining high quality performance in all activities
- Carry out housekeeping where required upholding site standards while following Health & Safety guidelines
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills while working as part of a team
- A strong focus on safety and reliability, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands and shift patterns
- Experience operating MHE or holding valid certificate of competence would be an advantage, but not essential
