We’re recruiting for a Planning First Line Manager for our key customer, in Northampton. This role will oversee the full lifecycle of site contracts, from translating forecasts into staffing requirements to ensuring workforce alignment with operational demand.
This is a full-time, permanent role working hours of Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm.

We’re looking to offer a salary of £35,000 per annum and 33 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays. What you’ll do on a typical day
- Ensure the staffing schedule is communicated across the different contracts on site.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of site contracts, from translating forecasts into staffing requirements to ensuring workforce alignment with operational demands.
- Hold meetings with the Operation teams to ensure adherence to the budget & highlight areas of concern.
- Monitor, track & report on capability impacting issues.
- Distribute reporting to key stakeholders internal & external by set deadlines.
What you need to succeed at GXO
- Experience of working within a staffing resource planning role, ideally within a logistics background.
- Ability to manage workloads & prioritise where required.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel as well as WMS systems.
- Analytical background, with experience of Power BI.
