Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Livingston, supporting our customer Iceland. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the depot and associated facilities are maintained in a safe operating manner, that the buildings are maintained to the highest possible standards, in accordance with legislation and best practices.
This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £38,000.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Assist the Engineering manager to ensure all contractual obligations are carried out fully, successfully and with the minimum disruption.
- Monitoring/maintenance of large industrial ammonia refrigeration plants, ensuring that it is available and maintained to optimum performance levels at all times.
- Planned and reactive plumbing and drainage maintenance.
- Electrical testing and fault finding.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Engineering qualification such as City & Guilds, NVQ level 3 is essential.
- Strong mechanical/electrical skills, ideally electrically biased.
- 18th Edition wiring is essential.
