Do you enjoy being the go-to person for HR support and employee queries? Here at GXO, we’re seeking a HR Administrator to join our contract based in Crick. You’ll be at the heart of the HR function – providing efficient, proactive administrative support across the full employee lifecycle. Supporting the HR Advisor, you’ll ensure processes are compliant, records are accurate, and colleagues receive a professional and timely HR service.

This is a full time, 12-month fixed term position. Based on-site, you will work Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:00 or 09:00 till 17:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Managing HR systems, employee records, and personnel files to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Supporting recruitment activities including interview coordination and onboarding administration
  • Handling absence processes, probation tracking, and leaver administration
  • Preparing HR documentation such as contracts, letters, and meeting packs
  • Responding to employee and manager queries while maintaining HR inbox SLAs

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Previous experience within a HR administrative role
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage workload in a fast-paced environment
