Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a full-time, permanentFacilities Operativeto join our team atNorthampton, NN4 5EL ensuring that basic daily issues are resolved across the whole of the site to keep the workplace safe at all times.

This is full-time, permanentposition, working on a4 on, 4 off shiftbetween the hours of07:00 – 19:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Supporting the facilities manager with completing statutory basic maintenance checks (ie emergency lighting checks, sprinkler system testing around the site
  • Maintain/record all data for compliance with facilities matters for internal/external auditing
  • Be able to work within a controlled and confidential manner
  • Liaise with external contractors as required for site regular maintenance
  • Maintain all Health and Safety in the workplace
