Full time, permanent role. You will be working Monday to Friday on the early shift, starting 04:00 - 07:00.
Responsibilities
- Support the driver to ensure the vehicle is loaded correctly and the load adequately secured
- Assist throughout the delivery and collection process
- Carry out tasks / reasonable requests as required
- Be responsible for reporting issues to customer care
- Take ownership of paperwork
- Support the driver with navigation as required
- Work as a banksman when required
- Support depot with the off-loading and stowing of empty containers
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Driver Mate or similar desirable
- Flexible approach to work
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills with a customer‑focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and adaptability
- Commitment to Health & Safety and maintaining operational standards
