Job Summary
Stock Team Leader – Thatcham (Full‑time, permanent). You will work Monday to Friday, 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with periodic weekend work required. The role involves leading a high‑performing, flexible team and delivering operational excellence in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, supervise and report upon the work activities of the warehouse operatives, providing effective communication, leadership, succession planning, motivation, training and development.
- Take ownership of all inventory control activities, ensuring consistently high stock accuracy across the warehouse.
- Plan, coordinate and oversee regular cycle counts, ensuring all are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Track, analyse and report on inventory discrepancies, stock accuracy and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded and maintained within the WMS system.
- Lead a high performing team of flexible and engaged colleagues, focusing on always delivering operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar Stock Team Leader role within a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
- Be a natural leader, able to coach others to drive and implement change.
- Strong experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan and organise a warehouse operation.
- Strong IT skills, including warehouse systems and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated flexibility and strong organisational skills.
