As a Transport Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative transport solutions that optimise operational efficiency and deliver cost‐effective outcomes for our customers. This role combines strategic thinking, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to support business growth and continuous improvement.

What you will do on a typical day:
- Design and cost innovative transport solutions for new business and existing operations, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Utilise advanced modelling tools (e.g., Paragon) for network optimisation, scenario planning, and feasibility studies.
- Analyse operational and customer data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering actionable insights.
- Prepare proposals, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients, supporting tenders and strategic decisions.
- Lead cross‐functional collaboration to implement solutions, drive ESG initiatives and support AI‐driven optimisation projects.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Interest in transport modelling and network design, with proficiency in tools like Paragon and/or data analysis software.
- Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts and engage stakeholders effectively.
- Proven project management capability, delivering complex solutions under tight deadlines while ensuring quality standards.
- In‐depth knowledge of operations, cost optimisation, sustainability principles, and emerging AI‐driven solutions.
- Degree‐level qualification (or equivalent experience) in Transport Planning, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management; professional certificates and CPC desirable.
