Are you a detail-driven leader with a passion for process and precision? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Inventory Team Leader to take charge in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You'll bring advanced Excel skills, solid WMS knowledge (ideally DLX/Red Prairie), and a sharp eye for detail - all while leading a team and ensuring clear, consistent communication across the site.
Here at GXO, we're looking for an Inventory Team Leader to join our VMO2 contract at our busy shared user site in Wellingborough. As an Inventory Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading, overseeing and maintaining inventory and operational processes to ensure full compliance. You will work closely with the Inventory Manager and FLM to maintain accurate stock control and support operational excellence.
This is a full-time, permanent position working on an any 5 out of 7 days shift pattern, between the hours of 10:00 - 18:00.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Support in deliverance of SLAs and KPIs in line with contract requirements, calling out any potential risks
- Create/improve/maintain all logs, files, spreadsheets, SOPs
- System checks, alignment of order to warehouse management systems, and system to off system data
- Cycle count management, manual order maintenance and oversight
- Support of stock and finance investigation queries along with audits and data collection/provision
- Undertake special projects, provide statistics and reports as required
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- A proven track record of successfully leading operational teams in a fast-paced warehouse setting is essential, preferably within an inventory-focused operation
- Experience with using warehouse management systems, ideally DLX/ Red Prairie
- Experience in inventory/stock control within a warehouse environment is essential
- Previous administration experience with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and competent with using all other MS Office applications
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ensure effective communication is delivered to colleagues and management teams daily
