Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a versatile and safety-focused Class 2 Driver to join our specialist logistics team based in Warrington, WA2 7NT.
You will be responsible for the secure transport of hazardous goods, including lithium-ion batteries and solar panels, across the UK. You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional weekends and the start time window of 05:00 and 06:00.

- A typical day starts between 05:00 - 06:00 with 1-2 deliveries to engineers in the morning, followed by a trunk run between our distribution centres
- Safely transport ADR-classified goods (e.g. lithium-ion batteries) to and from customer sites
- Carry out vehicle checks, report defects, and ensure compliance with company and legal safety standards
- Follow ADR, Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Health & Safety regulations always
- Accurately complete delivery documentation (ePODs, manifests, waste transfer notes if required)
- Provide a professional, reliable service when representing the company to customers and site contacts
- A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlement
- A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
- Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
- ADR Licence (minimum: Class 9 - Miscellaneous Dangerous Substances, with Packages preferred)
- Previous experience with hazardous goods transport (batteries/solar panels desirable)
- No more than 6 current penalty points
