If you’ve answered yes to these questions, we have the perfect opportunity for you! GXO is currently on the lookout for a motivated and driven Warehouse Trainer to join our team in Goole. The role involves conducting site inductions for new starters, providing training on all MHE equipment (trained to the RTITB standard) along with delivering training to all colleagues on in-house processes (SOPs / SSOW). Site Trainers are expected to consistently demonstrate a high level of operational excellence during both training sessions and operational duties. This is a full-time, permanent position where you will be working Monday – Friday, between the hours of 08:30 – 16:30 predominantly, with the flexibility to train across all shifts as and when required. Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £30,000.00 per annum and 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day: Ensure weekly training plans are delivered to ensure operational training requirements are met for new starters / refreshers & cross-job training To ensure new staff are trained to the required competence levels and that all relevant paperwork is completed and administered in the required time frames Deliver training in all operational areas to a high standard. Developing innovative and progressive ways to improve speed to competency To ensure a robust record of all training activity is undertaken and maintained to meet legislative requirements of the site and the business What you need to succeed at GXO: Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment Current qualification or willingness to become RTITB MHE Trainer accredited Experience in delivering training both in a group setting and 1-2-1 at operative level Excellent facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills A confident communicator in a classroom setting, able to command the attention of the room Good use of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains
