Here at GXO, we are recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Manager (Nights) to join our team in Avonmouth, supporting one of our new business wins! As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading your own team, helping to coach, motivate and engage them to create a great team culture with a strong work ethic.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 18:00 – 06:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £47,250.00 per annum, and 20 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the shift, striving to maximise productivity, quality, and efficiency across the Warehouse.
- Drive performance through effective monitoring of coaching and performance.
- Review all aspects of shift performance, identifying areas for improvement to ensure efficient and accurate process.
- Lead the team on shift proactively to motivate high performance, develop positive engagement and good communication across the operation.
- Management of the warehouse training requirement and function.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing a large operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment at a similar level.
- The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement.
- Positive, people-oriented approach and readiness to tackle the challenges of the night shift.
