Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for full-time, permanent, Warehouse Operatives and MHE Drivers to join our Avonmouth team, supporting one of our new business wins!
We are currently recruiting for the following shift patterns:
- 3 on 3 off, covering the hours of 06:00 to 18:00
- 3 on 3 off, covering the hours of 18:00 to 06:00

As a Warehouse Operative you’ll get:
- An hourly rate of £13.50 on days shift and £15.53 on night shift (Warehouse Operative)
- An hourly rate of £15.26 on days shift and £17.55 on night shift (MHE Driver)
- Overtime pay at time and a third

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Operate MHE with due care at all times adhering to the Safety Procedures – full training provided!
- Be involved in all aspects of the warehouse including picking and packing – this is an ever-changing environment so you must be happy with change
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures around the warehouse and help promote a culture of this - Safety is one of our core values
- Provide key support to the site and take on any tasks that may be needed to help with the smooth running of the operation
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous Warehouse Operative experience beneficial but not essential
- A willingness to work at heights
- A positive attitude to working safely and as part of a team
- Flexibility and a ‘can do’, right first time and passionate approach
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting, pulling, and pushing
- Willingness to undergo background checks and pass drug and alcohol screening as part of the recruitment process
