We are looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join us at our Halfords contract, at our site in Crick, Northampton. You will be responsible for the efficient running of the warehouse shift, ensuring optimum use of resources to deliver 1st class customer service, whilst taking a proactive approach to enhancing employee engagement and their development whilst driving forward a culture of continuous improvement.
This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working a Sunday to Thursday rotating shift of 05:30 to 14:00 and 13:30 to 22:00.

You will be paid a salary of up to £30,363.89 per annum. You will also receive 33 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. What you will do on a typical day:
- Take full operational responsibility for the day to day running of the warehouse on your shift (through FLM's and Team Leaders), you will lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve challenging targets.
- Create and maintain a positive team culture, by actively encouraging involvement from all, to improve employee engagement.
- Identify cost saving initiatives and implement corrective actions where appropriate to maximise the efficiency of the warehouse operation.
- With good understanding of Health & Safety you will strive to make sure all operational processes are fully compliant with our policies, while accurately identifying risks and escalating your findings.
