Here in GXO Warrington (WA5), we\’re working together with Iceland Foods and on the look-out for a Transport Administrator to join our fast-paced transport office. You\’ll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on a Tuesday to Saturday shift pattern, covering the hours of 10:00 – 18:00.

Responsibilities

What you\’ll do on a typical day:

  • Build and maintain a strong partnership with the transport functions and drivers to ensure regular communication is delivered
  • Record details of vehicle accidents and ensure these are escalated to line management
  • Drivers brief and de-briefing as well as data entry of statistics, customer reports and KPI\’S
  • Respond to customer queries in timely and professional manner

Qualifications

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Previous experience in transport environment essential
  • Knowledge of transport legislation and European Working Time Directive as well as Tachomaster
  • Working with Food Safety standard experience preferred but not essential
  • IT Literate, with excellent Word and Excel capabilities
