At GXO, we’re expanding and looking for dedicated drivers to join our energetic team at Dartford, Kent working on our Ikea contract. As a Class 2 Driver you will be delivering furniture for IKEA alongside a Drivers Mate who will assist in the lifting and shifting of items. Customer service will be at the heart of this role, creating a better every day!
This is a full time, permanent role you will be working 48 hours per week on a shift pattern of 5 days on, 3 days off over an 8-week rota with start times between 5:00-5:30.

- Working as a 2-person delivery team, delivering furniture products into a room of choice at customers' homes and providing a first-class customer service experience
- Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly secured.
- Completion of tachographs in line with legislation and company policies
- Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects.
- This is a physically demanding role which includes lifting and shifting of furniture.
- Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement.
- No more than 6 current penalty points
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
- Previous experience driving category C vehicles is desirable.
- DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate.
