Here at GXO, we’re currently looking for a Site Manager to lead our American Golf warehouse operation in Worsley, Manchester. You’ll lead an established, settled and experienced team and be responsible for ultimately ensuring the operational and commercial success of the operation. This is a full time, permanent role. Even though you’ll be contracted to Monday - Friday, this is a 24/7 operation, therefore you’ll need to offer a level of flexibility in terms of working hours – no two weeks are the same, this is logistics after all!
Pay, benefits and more:
- You’ll be paid a salary of up to £60,000 per annum, depending upon experience.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Be responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of the operation, leading from the front and getting under the skin of what keeps the site moving on a day-to-day basis.
- Play a key part in driving communication and engagement with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, both onsite and throughout the wider GXO network.
- Demonstrate the ability to identify and drive opportunities for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring the long-term success of the contract.
