Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team on our M&S contract in Thorncliffe. As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will work with the site leadership team to develop a continuous improvement culture and establish a pipeline of initiatives that decreases costs, improves accuracy and increases speed of chain.
This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £50,000.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Advocate and deliver process improvement opportunities by using lean techniques and continuous improvement tools.
- Work with the HR Manager to ensure any impact on people is identified and an appropriate communication plan is devised and delivered to support the CI initiative.
- Maintain a great working relationship with all teams internally and externally, through building understanding of an automated warehouse environment and customers' expectations.
- Communicate progress updates utilising appropriate communication methods ensuring relevant information is shared across the site at all levels.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and practical knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma.
- Experience of tracking benefits from initiatives to understand how to accurately reflect/account for changes.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of implementation of continuous improvement programmes and Lean solutions to support productivity.
