Here at GXO, were looking for a Regional HR Manager to join our team in the Southeast supporting our Equipment Management Network sites, where its all about recycling and reuse. As the Regional HR Manager you will support the ten sites (Bedford, Burton Latimer, Dagenham, Dartford, Erith, Peterborough, Sittingbourne, Snodland, Waltham Abbey and Sywell) and guide on a range of HR/People related matters while supporting the development of operational management competence levels of middle level managers in HR related issues across own area.
This is a full time, permanent position, predominately Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00. You can be based at either of the sites you will be responsible for but, must be able to travel to the other locations in the area.

Were looking to offer a salary of up toΒ£40,000.00 , and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What youll do on a typical day:
- Provide HR guidance and support the region on a range of people-related matters, from first line support to TUPE, redundancy and consultation processes
- Support, coach and advise key stakeholders on all HR issues, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance improvement
- Conduct regular and in-depth site HR reviews, identifying and driving any areas of improvement
- Assist the sites in the development of our managerial colleagues in terms of their own understanding and ability to support their operations in ER cases
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- A strong background in a similar HR position, preferably with exposure to an operational environment such as logistics, manufacturing or production
- Excellent working knowledge of HR processes, procedures and employment law (if you have or are studying towards CIPD, this would be a bonus)
- The flexibility and ability to travel throughout the Southeast as well as occasionally further afield for meetings and events
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
