Are you organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Here at GXO, we're looking for a Transport Administrator to join our team based in Milton Keynes within our Amazon fresh contract. As a Transport Administrator, you will play a vital role in our business, managing the delivery schedule, communicating with our customers and suppliers, and ensuring that our transport operations run smoothly. This is a full-time and permanent position with a shift pattern of '4 on 4 off' working the hours of 06:00 - 18:00.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Ensuring that drivers are properly debriefed and that all paperwork is compliant
- Monitor and review tachograph data to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
- Liaise closely with customer operations to maintain a seamless flow of information and documentation, supporting timely and efficient deliveries
- Manage daily queries from drivers, customers, and internal departments, providing clear and effective communication
- Keep stores informed of any potential delivery delays or disruptions, ensuring transparency and proactive problem-solving
- Respond promptly to any operational issues or incidents during the shift, working to resolve them efficiently and minimise service impact
- Work closely with maintenance providers to ensure vehicle road worthiness
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Excellent communication skills and organisational skills
- Knowledge of transport legislation will be advantageous
- Experience in a similar transport administration role would be a bonus!
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel
