Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a new adventure? Want to hit the road with a company that's all about making life better and every journey worthwhile? Here at GXO Doncaster we are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our transport team, supporting our customer B&Q. You'll be part of a team that works together to keep projects moving, ensuring every delivery helps create homes people love.
You will be working on a 4 months fixed-term contract, on full-time basis, contracted to 48 hours per week. We are currently recruiting for the following patterns:
- Wednesday to Sunday, start time window of 04:00 to 07:00
- Sunday to Thursday, start time window of 14:00 to 18:00
- Monday to Friday, start time at 17:00 or 20:00

- An annual salary of £45,524.16
- An additional £3.45 per hour, for hours worked between 02:00 and 06:00

What you will do on a typical day:
- Carry out a mix of multidrop and trunking deliveries, while collecting waste from stores in line with operational requirements
- Handle both palletised goods and cages, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading procedures
- Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office regarding any issues and deliver exemplary customer service by being polite and courteous at all times
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
- Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
- Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
- No more than 6 current penalty points
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements
