Join us as our HR Advisor and youll be a key partner to operational leaders across our Northampton site (Pineham), delivering a proactive and hands-on HR Service across warehouse and transport operations. Youll play a pivotal role in driving engagement, shaping culture, and supporting both people and performance.
This is a full-time, permanent position with 37.5 hours per week contracted. Based on-site Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00.

What youll do on a typical day:
Providing expert HR advise to managers on employee relations, performance, and people management
Managing end-to-end absence, disciplinary, grievance, and long-term sickness cases
Walking the floor to build relationships and ensure a visible, approachable HR presence
Supporting the GXO teams in proactively identifying and developing employee engagement
Analysing HR data and supporting the delivery of the site people plan and broader HR strategy
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Previous experience in a generalist HR role with strong employee relations exposure, in a fast-moving environment
Solid knowledge of UK Employment Law and HR best practice, including trade unions
Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ideally CIPD level 5 qualified (or working towards CIPD qualification)
