Here at GXO Cambuslang, Glasgow we are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team, supporting our customer, B&Q. From receiving and storing products to picking, packing, and dispatching orders you will be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations.
Shift and employment
You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday when working on AM (06:00-14:00) and PM (14:00-22:00) shift, Sunday to Thursday when working on Nights (22:00-06:00). Flexibility is required for this role as you will be working across all three shift patterns.

What you’ll do on a typical day
- Perform a range of warehouse tasks including picking, loading/unloading vehicles, and operating FLT and pallet trucks using RF systems, while adhering to safe manual handling practices
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time, such as returns manifests and daily driver records
- Ensure operational standards and customer service requirements are met by achieving site KPIs and maintaining high quality performance in all activities
- Carry out housekeeping where required upholding site standards while following Health & Safety guidelines
What you need to succeed at GXO
- Previous experience operating Counterbalance is essential
- Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills while working as part of a team
- A strong focus on safety and reliability, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands and shift patterns
- Experience operating MHE or holding valid certificate of competence would be an advantage, but not essential
