Here at GXO Logistics, we’re looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at our B&Q Redhouse site in Doncaster.
You will be responsible for motivating and leading a team of operatives, ensuring productivity targets are met and customer service standards are delivered to the highest level. This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work rotating shifts of Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00. However, flexibility will be essential at peak times, this is logistics after all!
Pay, benefits and more:
- You’ll be paid a salary of £28,566 per annum.
- You’ll also receive 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Supervise and motivate a team of warehouse operatives.
- Allocate tasks and manage day-to-day workloads.
- Deliver clear team briefings and communicate objectives effectively.
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are met and maintained.
- Deputise for the First Line Manager when required.
- Complete accurate documentation, reports and statistics.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain site standards in hygiene and housekeeping.

- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead by example.
- PC literacy and awareness of Health & Safety practices.
- Flexible approach to working shifts and a commitment to operational excellence.
