We’re looking for an MHE Trainer to join our GXO Direct operation supporting SC Johnson Professional at our Denby site. This is a key role responsible for delivering all MHE training and refresher activity, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards and operational excellence.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday (AM or PM shift available) with flexibility to cover between 06:00 and 22:00 as required.

  • We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £29,258.11 per annum, and 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Deliver MHE training and refresher courses in line with legal, customer and site requirements.
  • Ensure all operators are trained, assessed, authorised and compliant.
  • Maintain accurate training records and certification documentation.
  • Promote and embed a strong health & safety culture across the operation.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • A current MHE trainer qualification (RTITB, ITSSAR or AITT), or extensive MHE experience with the ability to achieve trainer qualification.
  • Proven experience operating and training on MHE within a warehouse environment.
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and safe systems of work.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to coach and assess others.
  • A proactive, organised and safety-focused approach.
